Jennifer and Andrew | Destination Wedding in Spain
“Can I just say a HUGE thank you!
They are absolutely beautiful. We are so happy with them!
It’s been lovely to see all those little bits that we missed and I can’t wait to share them with our friends and family. We really do love all our photos!”
– Jennifer and Andrew
A few of my favourites from our lovely Jennifer and Andrew’s beautiful, happy and epically chilled out wedding day in Spain. A big thank you to them both for flying me and Philip out from Yorkshire, UK to capture your wonderful day in the hazy sunshine, this was definitely a wedding we won’t forget :)
(For details of Jennifer’s day and how she planned a destination wedding in spain, see below!)
We’re off to shoot a beautiful wedding in France this weekend, there’s definitely worse ways to earn a living!
(One quick note, we still have a just couple of places left on our Fine Art wedding photography workshop, ‘A Beautiful Way’ in September! It’s set to be a truly amazing day with some of the best wedding suppliers in the industry. For more details, see here! )
P H O T O G R A P H Y : Belle and Beau Fine Art Photography
“We decided on Belle and Beau photography after we were recommended them from a friend who follows Holly’s blog. We had been looking for a while and when we looked through Belle and Beau’s website we loved how pretty and soft all the images were. They were exactly what we had been looking for and more!”
V E N U E : Casa de Laila, Spain
“We decided we wanted to get married abroad as we had our hearts set on an outdoor wedding. We found Casa de Laila, a glamping/yoga retreat in Southern Spain and straight away loved how pretty and relaxed the venue looked. It was so beautiful with all the flowers and the Palm trees that we knew it wouldn’t need a lot of decorating. We booked our flights out to view it and it more than lived up to what we hoped!”
H A I R : Golden Tarts
“We had a lovely girl called Emma doing our hair from the ‘Golden Tarts’ in Puerto Banus. I decided to go for hair down with waves and flowers as I love the boho bridal look!”
“I chose Rachel Simpson shoes ‘Mimosa’ because I liked the vintage look of them. I read a lot of reviews saying they were really comfy which was a must for me as I’m not great at wearing high heels! I brought a pair of flat Sandals to change into in the evening but I didn’t need them in the end because the Rachel Simpson shoes were so comfortable!”
A D V I C E F O R B R I D E S :
“It was so lovely to be surrounded by our closest family and friends, all of whom were so happy for us. It’s so rare to get all your nearest and dearest together like that. We kept the numbers quite low at 50 people in total and that was just perfect. I feel we kept it quite relaxed and informal which was what we set out to do. We wanted our guests to enjoy it and have as much fun as we did.
My advise for any future brides would be to take at least 5 or 10 minutes with your new husband by yourselves so you can have a moment just to think, wow. . .all this is for us!”
