If there was ever a prize for ‘Best Wife’s Gift to Her New Husband Award’, Melanie would win it hands down. I remember forgetting that on my own wedding day, in amongst the chaos of planning a wedding, but Melanie not only remembered, she bought her new Husband Philip a vintage car! I feel I have some making up to do ;)
This beautiful wedding took place at the exquisite venue of Hedsor House, a perfect location for any UK bride who loves the light and airy look of fine art wedding photography. The venue was beautifully neutral and filled with lots of lovely natural light and really added to Melanie’s romantic vision for her wedding day.
She chose beautiful dusty grey tulle dresses for her bridesmaids and Philip looked every part the dashing beau in his tuxedo, with matching groomsmen too.
Philip is from Sweden and they elegantly incorporated both of their nationalities and heritage into the day with Melanie wearing a traditional Swedish Midsummer flower crown, all the men queuing to kiss the bride during their meal if the groom left the room and Melanie’s Dad learning Swedish as a surprise during part of his speech :)
It was a lovely wedding to capture and an honour to capture these precious memories for them forever!
